So glad you dropped by.
I’m a long time resident of St. Charles Mo. a nice sized town just West of St. Louis where I was born and raised.
Born in 1950 I began my creative season rather late, writing my first song in 1982 at the age of 31. Since then I’ve written about 125 songs but you won’t find near that many here, and there’s a good reason for that. I’ve only added the songs here that I think are my best. As for my book, “The Prison Dome”, well that came along much later. Although I’ve wanted to write a book for many years, I didn’t actually start one until COVID struck and, being retired, I had nearly nothing to do. To ease my boredom I started writing one day and lo and behold about 5 months later I had a complete story that was book length. I was truly surprised by that. Actually. I always looked at writing as a chore, but I had the best time. So good a time that even before my first book was ready for public consumption I started my second. It should be ready by the end of the year. I don’t know if there’s another one after that or not. We’ll have to wait and see.
As far as performing is concerned, I began performing locally in bars, restaurants and coffee houses in 1997 and had such a good time doing it. Since then I have worked very hard to become better at performing, purchasing the necessary equipment and learning hundreds of new songs. My repertoire now includes well over 500 songs and I am learning new songs all the time. Because of this extensive repertoire I can customize my set list to the venue.
Well that tells you more than you probably wanted to know about me. Please look at the book, the 1st chapter is available here to read for free. If you like it, the whole book is available in my online shop in a number of formats. While your reading that listen to a few of my songs and if you like them they are also available for download.
Thanks for dropping by and please come back. I write new songs at a rate of about 3-4 per year so there could always be something new here and the new book is coming along nicely.
