Jesus and Jack

I was watching television when one character said to another that they would easily be able to handle whatever situation they were in at the time. The other character looked up and said, “I’m not so sure, that’s gonna take a little bit of Jesus and a lot of Jack.” The line struck me and I thought it would be interesting to write a song about how both might benefit some people in different ways at different times but might also be both be important in a person’s life. The result is this song titled simple “Jesus and Jack”. Hope you enjoy it.
