Starlite Cafe

I wrote this song back in the early 1990’s. My wife and I were going through a particularly rough patch as many couples do. We weren’t getting along and, at times, it seemed as though we might actually split up. I used the image of a familiar place where two people had met, fallen in love, grown up and grown apart from each other to represent how I felt about our relationship. Fortunately, my wife and I were able to get through this time and remain together, now closer than ever. From some of my darkest days, The Starlite Cafe.
